Matchday Info
1. Where do Chicago Spurs watch?
Regardless of day or time of day, Chicago Spurs watch all Tottenham Hotspur matches at the Atlantic Bar and Grill in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago Illinois. The Atlantic Bar and Grill is located at 5062 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60625.
We are always excited to meet Tottenham supporters and make connections locally and from around the world so please do come in and say hello when you’re here!
2. How early does the pub open before a match?
Generally the Atlantic Bar and Grill opens at least 1 hour before kickoff of any match unless otherwise indicated by the bar. For matches that kick off prior to 8:00 am CST, the bar will generally open at least a half hour before kickoff.
(For instance, if a match kicks off at 6:30am, The Atlantic’s doors will be open around 6:00am, but for a 12:30pm match, the pub might open earlier such as at 10am, but will generally be open at least by 11am.)
The Atlantic can be reached at (773) 506-7090 to check on opening times.
Also, please keep a lookout on our Chicago Spurs social media profiles (Twitter/X and Instagram and Bluesky) for kickoff times (local time) and doors open.
3. Are children allowed?
The Atlantic Bar and Grill is a family friendly establishment and supervised children of all ages are welcome.
Chicago Spurs would like to issue the following warning to parents and guardians: On match days, The Atlantic may be very full and crowded with football fans. Football fans often use colorful language as part of their support. Chicago Spurs is not responsible for any language used by any fans or members in attendance on match day.

Info on Getting Involved
9. How can I connect on a charity offer or volunteer opportunity?
Chicago Spurs have a deep dedication to community service. We usually have had multiple volunteer and charity events or occurrences per season, with a variety of community organizations both in Chicago and beyond.
In the past, we have partnered with:
-
Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC)
-
A Just Harvest
-
The Greater Chicago Food Depository
-
Exposure UK
-
Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC)
-
Street Soccer Chicago
-
Toys for Tots
-
Common Pantry
We welcome the involvement of all Chicago Spurs members and guests! There are several ways you can stay informed and get involved in upcoming events.
First, join our Facebook group to get the latest information on upcoming charity opportunities and to RSVP for an upcoming event.
Secondly, and possibly the best way to hear of volunteer or charity event opportunities is by attending matches at The Atlantic Bar & Grill and making sure not to miss halftime announcements.
We also welcome new ideas and partnerships. If you have a cool new charity idea, feel free to reach out to us in the form below or email the board at chicagospurs@gmail.com to tell us about it!
10. “I’ve been to The Atlantic and I’m wondering what’s up with the people raising their hands on a set piece or corner kick and should I get involved or let them do their thing?”
If you’ve ever been to The Atlantic on a match day, you’ve probably seen a handful of people raise their hands on set pieces or corner kicks and thought, “what is going on?”. Well, here’s your answer: Set Piece Roulette… and after you know what it’s about, feel free to join in!
-
On a set piece, raise your hand. That means you’re taking part in Set Piece Roulette.
-
Then, one person per set piece “calls it”. The person who “calls it” rotates throughout the match.
-
If Tottenham scores on the corner kick or set piece, whoever “calls” that set piece, has to buy a shot for whoever is “in” for that round.
-
An incentive to play: we have shirts for whenever a new “winner” has been crowned as the person who won (the person who had to buy the shots, the person who was “it”, that is)
11. Is Chicago Spurs interested in product promotions, offers, or solicitations?
Chicago Spurs is NOT interested in any products, promotions, offers or solicitations. Services needed for operation of the club are handled by direct contact from the Board. If you are a charity, nonprofit, or volunteer opportunity interested in connecting with Chicago Spurs, please see number 9 (above) or email the board at chicagospurs@gmail.com.
